I’m still not fully sure how hypnosis works, even as a social worker myself, however I came out of 4 sessions with so many beautiful opportunities to reflect, to get curious, and to gain clarity. With much experience with traditional talk therapy, I knew I wanted to try a new modality to further my self-awareness, and this experience did not disappoint! Keri offers a relaxed setting, is SO lovely and easy to talk to, and unlike other therapies I’ve participated in, does not place a firm end time to sessions. She mentioned, “You’ll know” when to end a session or when to book the next, and it was true - it’s amazing what listening to the body can do. In trusting the process, I’m leaving with 1) more of an ability to trust myself, 2) a desire to turn inward rather than assume answers are outside of myself, 3) a conscious awareness around misplaced blame, 4) compassion and gentleness around shame - priceless gifts. I highly recommend Storrs Hypnosis for a deeper dive into what holds us back from living as our favorite selves.
I am a drug and alcohol counselor who has been sober for over 10 years but I couldn't stop smoking. My sessions were keri were amazing. I was going through some extremely stressful times while I was also doing this process. She was able to curb my smoking and I have completely quit. I also left failing rejuvenated. She is amazing. I recommend anyone trying to quit smoking to give Keri a shot.
I couldn't have had a better experience with Keri. Not only did her practice resolve so much of my anxiety, but she's such an overall kind person, with such an open heart. She always made me feel comfortable, I actually was excited to go to an appointment just to talk to her!! Before hypnotherapy, I was having severe anxiety attacks multiple times a day, and now just after four hour/hour and a half sessions, I'm only having them once a week ish at a way less severe level, and even that has been dwindling down. I have an autoimmune disease that causes bad anxiety, and for ten years I've been trying to lessen this anxiety. I honestly could've never expected this much progress, especially in such a short amount of time.
My experience with Keri was literally life changing. I have been a smoker/vaper for over 10 years and have always struggled to quit. If I did quit, the craving would come back and I would start back up again. From the second I left Keri’s office, I did not pick up a vape nor have I had even one craving. Her approach was very specific to my individual self and she was amazing to work with. If you are struggling with any type of habit or addiction that doesn’t serve you, reach out to Storrs Hypnosis and you will not be disappointed. I never thought that I could get to this place in my life but I have because of Keri’s help!
Keri is the kindest and most supportive person ever. When I started with her, I was in a very low place in my life and with her help I was able to become this new much more happier version of me 10/10 would recommend 💜 …
I would highly recommend Storrs Hypnosis to anyone looking to make lasting change in their life! Keri is experienced, professional, and intuitive. Her office is inviting, comfortable and a wonderful setting for you to relax into hypnotherapy. I contracted with her to stop a habit I've had for 20+ years (biting the inside of my mouth). I experienced major change after my first session!
Keri Jenkins of Storrs Hypnosis has been of incredible assistance to me in regard to fear and anxiety associated with cancer treatments. She has helped me with the development of strategies to deal with these negative fearful emotions and to naturally substitute positive responses to them instead. Keri's keen insight and professionalism are wonderfully enhanced by sincere caring. I always feel as if I have a true comrade in my battle with these fears. Keri's empathy, and sincerity are also evident in her conscientious checking in in between appointments. She honestly cares about how we folks are doing in response to the therapy. Personally, her therapy has not only helped me to develop positive approaches to very negative thought processes, but also to 'chuckle', to actually laugh at my previous fears. That really great self humor is a gift whose value is beyond measure.
